Progressives have been saying for years that voters are on their side on taxes—and leading Democrats certainly have learned in more in proposing higher taxes on the rich and corporations in recent elections.
Now, the Excessive Wealth Disorder Institute has sought to aggregate years’ worth of polling to underscore just how deeply voters back the left tax-the-rich mantra.
The group looked at more than 50 polls, including both state and national surveys, and found voters particularly like President Joe Biden’s plan for a yearly tax on the unrealized gains of the very rich.
